Desalinization of Love
you thirst for water
but my saline is
so deadly strong
that you can not handle it
filled with sardines
that fancy up a caesar salad
moaning with desperate songs of loneliness
from a 52-hertz whale
so dense I could crush
most anything with my depths
unexplored by free diving man
250 meters deep
I’d crack your soft shell
reaching for any oxygen left in your heart
many melted ice caps
I’ve absorbed
swallowed Atlantis & Mu
but still just
one of the seven seas to you
my body has felt your lands
covered them in the past
with swaying tsunamis
but now can barely
keep your world a-float
heartbeat lapping
thrashing more sand than there are stars
against decaying
beaches that have seen better days
still wanting
to be stranded landlocked
beached like a rotting whale
with seagulls pecking and on-lookers looking
festered smelling precious ambergris
putrid moldering waiting
for the dynamite of destruction
to obliterate ever spoiled fragment that is left
but that lunar rock
in the sky
tides me away
gifts me in microplastics
and the nuclear fallout
of love
